Yes. The beginner courses are designed for students with no previous experience or even anyone looking to up-skill.

No. You will complete the required theory and demonstrations online sent to you 7 days before attending practical training at the academy (takes 1-2 days to complete). This allows the practical day to focus on model work, technique, corrections and feedback. We want you to get as much hands-on training as possible for your in-person days.

Theory videos are Demi at a whiteboard explaining everything in detail as if it’s live in person, with the perks of you being able to watch all through an app on your phone if needed, pause, and rewatch as many times as you want until it sticks. This is instead of cramming theory in a couple of hours on your in-person days, only getting hands-on training for a few hours, and all you're left with when you go home is a manual to read. There are studies done that whatever you learn or hear in a day you only take in 10-15%, which is why videos of me going through theory that you can watch multiple times works best!

Practical training takes place at Demi’s Nails & Beauty Academy in Dublin 12. Full arrival information will be included in your booking confirmation.

The current practical-course copy allows Seven months of online theory access from the date access is granted, unless the individual course page states otherwise. This answer applies only to courses with practical training in Dublin. Fully online courses always receive seven months of access from purchase.

A full training kit is included with all in person courses unless you’ve chosen to book the course with no kit.

Students are normally responsible for arranging suitable models for practical training. We can arrange models if needed, but if they cancel this is not our responsibility. It is better to find someone you know from family and friends that will 100% turn up for you, as if we are sourcing you a model this will be strangers from online groups.

Your certificate is issued after you successfully complete the required theory, quiz, practical training and any additional assessments or case studies required for your course.

Yes. The deposit shown on the course page secures your place and is deducted from the total course fee. Deposits are non-refundable and the remaining balance must be paid by the deadline stated in your booking terms.

One transfer may be permitted when at least 14 days’ notice is provided, subject to availability and the Student Course Policy. Deposits remain non-refundable.

The current beginner treatment qualifications are AIT-accredited in the delivery formats shown on the course page. After successful completion, students may apply for professional treatment insurance. We will also provide an insurance discount code with ABT/ AIT for insurance for all students.
